Cloud Forest Publishing
Terms of Service
Plainly: you keep the rights to anything you write here, we keep the rights to the books, and either of us can walk away.

Who you are dealing with
godsrebirth.com is run by Greensboro Martial Arts Academy, LLC, trading as Cloud Forest Publishing, in North Carolina, United States. Registered address: 931 S Main Street, Ste E 119, Kernersville, NC 27284, United States. You can reach a person at sifu@cloudforesttemple.com.
By using the site you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Who can use this
You must be at least 13 to have an account. Some of the writing on this site, in particular The Herald Reborn, is written for adults and contains graphic violence, sex, and scenes of abuse. If you are under 18, do not buy a membership without a parent or guardian agreeing to it, and do not read the titles marked for adult readers.
Membership
- Membership costs $10 per month and renews automatically each month until you cancel it.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- The charge will appear on your statement as GODSREBIRTH BOOKS.
- Membership gives you access to read the books online while your membership is active. It is a licence to read, not a sale of the book, and it does not transfer ownership of anything.
- You can cancel at any time. See cancelling and refunds.
- If we change the price, we will tell you before it takes effect and you will have the chance to cancel first.
What you may not do with the books
The books, artwork, and other material we publish belong to us or to the author. While you are a member you may read them for your own personal enjoyment. You may not copy, download in bulk, scrape, republish, sell, share your login, or feed our books into a machine learning system for training. Quoting a short passage in a review or a conversation is fine and always has been.
What you write here stays yours
Anything you write at the Writing Desk, add to your Common Book, or enter into a Trial remains yours. You keep the copyright. We do not claim ownership of your work and we will not sell it.
So that the site can function, you give us permission to store your work, show it back to you, and, if you choose to publish it where other members can see it, display it to them with your name on it. You can delete your work, and deleting it withdraws that permission for anything we can still reasonably remove.
We do not use your writing to train machine learning models, and we do not give it to anybody else to do so.
The Trial
The monthly Trial is a writing contest with its own rules and its own prize terms, published on the Trial page. Entering is voluntary. You keep the copyright in your entry whether you win or not. If you win and are offered a co-author credit, that is a separate written agreement which you are free to read, take advice on, and decline at no cost to you.
Behaving decently
If you post work where other members can see it, do not post anything unlawful, anything that harasses or threatens another person, anything that infringes somebody else’s copyright, or anything sexual involving children. We can remove posts and close accounts that break this, and we will tell you why.
Things we cannot promise
We will do our best to keep the site up and your work safe, but we cannot promise the site will never go down or never lose data. Keep your own copy of anything that matters to you. The Writing Desk has a download button for exactly this reason.
The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Ending it
You can cancel your membership or delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or if we stop offering the service. If we close the site, we will give you notice and a reasonable chance to export your work.
Changes
We may update these terms. If a change matters to you as a paying member, we will tell you by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
Which law applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, and the courts there have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer somewhere else, this does not take away rights your local law gives you that cannot be signed away.
Questions about any of this, write to sifu@cloudforesttemple.com and a person will answer you.
